fire...

yeah, so... the dining hall in my residence hall caugh on fire last night

i will rant about it, starting... NOW

SO... the alarm went off sometime at 1am, or something

- i didnt hear it.
- i went about my merry business
- i smelled smoke so i assumed that someone was smoking out or something
- it wasnt someone just smoking out.
- my friend jarid asked if i heard the alarm.
- NO ONE WAS IN MY HALL
- they all left
- haha...
- we go outside, and its all smoky.
- think burnt plastic smell
- the heard us to a parking lot... then to pentland, another residence
- as we pass by our hall again, BIGGER CLOUDS OF BILLOWING SMOKE come from the building.
- after about an hour of just sitting around we get info
- we arent allowed to go back to out rooms so we had to seek shelter elsewhere.
- also : the electricy was shut off... so our thing would not be damaged if the sprinkers go one
- IF THE SPINKLERS GO ON.
- SLEEP OVER AT LAUREN'S!

today
- return to my dorm.
- everything still smells smoky
- we learn a few things...

1) the dining hall will be closed until the end of the year.
2) NO HOT WATER [take a shower at a friends place in a&i or pentland or go to the pe building or student rec center/
3) NO AIR CONDITIONING

and worst of all...

4) NO INTERNET

hmph. that, and its a million degrees here in riverside.

anyone want to come over here and bring me food? please?
